Who we are

This website is operated by Clear-IT B.V., based in Haarlem, Netherlands. Our registration details are listed in the footer of every page. For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to sales@clear-it.online.

Clear-IT B.V. is the controller for the personal data described below, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This website sets no cookies

clear-it.online is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no social media widgets, and builds no profile of visitors. The contact form sets no cookies either. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not shown a cookie banner.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. If you would rather avoid this entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted — let us know and we will make that change.

Server logs

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, the hosting platform records technical request data — including your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and your browser's user agent — for security and to keep the service running. These logs are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period and are not used to identify individual visitors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The contact form

When you send a quote request, we receive what you filled in: your name, company and email address, and — if you chose to add them — your phone number, the type and quantity of equipment, its location, and anything you wrote in the message field. We use this only to answer your request and to handle any business that follows from it.

Your submission is not stored in a database on this website. It is turned into an email and sent to us by our email delivery provider, Resend (Resend Inc., United States), which processes the content solely to deliver it. From there it lives in our mailbox like any other message. Nothing you type is kept anywhere else.

The form carries one hidden field that human visitors never see and never fill in. We use it only to recognise automated spam; it collects nothing about you.

When you email us

If you write to us directly instead, we receive the content of your message and whatever details you include. Same purpose, same handling.

For both routes the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, once we are doing business, the performance of a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Correspondence and transaction records are kept for as long as needed for the business relationship and for the retention periods Dutch law requires of us — including the seven-year fiscal retention obligation for administrative records.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Two providers process data on our behalf: Vercel hosts this website, and Resend delivers the contact form by email. Both are bound by a processing agreement, and transfers outside the European Economic Area take place under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Our labels

Our commercial labels, such as Find-RAM, run on their own platforms and publish their own privacy statements. If you use one of those stores, the statement on that site applies to that visit.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased, where no retention obligation applies;
  • ask us to restrict processing, or object to it;
  • receive data you gave us in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email sales@clear-it.online. We respond within one month. If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything to the website that processes personal data — a contact form, analytics, an embedded map — we will update this policy first, and add a consent mechanism where one is required.
